We took the long scenic route from Christchurch to Tekapo, Rte. 72-77.
And an unexpected gem of a lunch break at Espress Yourself Cafe in Darfield. Highly recommend.
And lots of cows and sheep.
The cows were very curious. Hubs got close to their pen to take some photos and they gathered 'round. As you can see, they're a little skittish.
