This one is a little more caloric than I normally go, but it's rich and delicious and almost tastes like dessert without any added sugar.
Banana Date Smoothie
1/2 cup lowfat yogurt
1 small banana, cut into chunks and frozen
1/3 cup of dates, pitted
1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk
1 tsp chia seeds
1/2 tsp. flax seeds
1/4 cup of water
2 ice cubes
Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth. Makes one smoothie, about 375 calories.
